This is a practical course designed to increase confidence and competency in field identification skills, sampling protocol implementation and data management and analysis. Specific skills addressed will include: Identification of woody species and the pests and diseases that can impact them; sampling methods for vegetation, including Ecological Land Classification; identification and sampling techniques for local bird and amphibian populations; and forest pest and disease assessment and management planning.
