The intention of this course is to integrate curriculum objectives from across the program into an environmental capstone project that explores a question in sampling, analysis and/or research. Students will be responsible for the progression of their projects. Students will learn to set reasonable goals and meet deadlines; have the opportunity to practice the technical skills they have learned in class; and to demonstrate an ability to work safely and collaboratively, as required in a workplace setting. Project scope and terms of reference will be developed in conjunction with the instructor. Project results will be disseminated in the form of a final report and also as a poster presented in a public forum.
