Description:

In this course, you will review the theory that supports standard laboratory skills and techniques. You will have the opportunity to develop competencies in performing typical laboratory skills, including the use of balances, pipettes, burettes, and filters. You will also complete the calculations to prepare standard solutions accurately. Ion-selective electrodes and other analytical instruments will also be introduced in this course. Significant figures and statistics will be discussed and used throughout the course.

  • ENVR1129 - Environmental Chemistry AND
  • ENVR1207 - Environmental Sampling and Analysis AND
  • MATH1133 - Mathematics
