You will be taking a hands-on approach to developing skills in mapping, recording relevant field observations, collecting samples, and using instrumentation to analyze surface water, sediment and soil samples. This course sets the stage for our program, teaching you to develop good habits for sample documentation and the maintenance of sample quality and integrity. Get out your boots; we are preparing you to work in the industry, which means that you must also be able to demonstrate that you are committed to working safely and professionally.
