In this course students will gain a working knowledge of storage batteries and battery charging systems. Students will also learn the principles and components of connecting an independent energy producing system to the public power grid. Students will also become familiar with the Electrical Code requirements governing these installations in Ontario. This course will equip students with the basic skills necessary to enter into the Renewable Energy field, working alongside a journeyman and utilizing the necessary Canadian Electrical Code rules to safely install various types of energy storage systems
