Description:

This course provides a thorough review of the content, context and impact of federal and provincial energy legislation and regulations. The significant effects of climate change on policy development will be examined through an analysis of the Green Energy Act, the Ontario Energy Board Act, the Electricity Act, the Energy Efficiency Act, and the Building Code. Specific applications related to energy auditing will be emphasized. Current federal and provincial incentive programs will be examined, and strategies to stay up to date with them will be explored.
