You will select advanced assessment and intervention skills required to demonstrate assessment skills. Critical thinking will allow for differential diagnosis while formulating a treatment plan, establish the patient's chief complaint, incorporate transport decisions, communicate with the Base Hospital physician, receiving hospital staff, and perform continued assessment/interventions plans at the ACP level. This course is skill and scenario based, with the final expectation you will integrate knowledge, critical thinking and skills learned in Semesters I, and II competently and safely in simulated situations. You will perform according to the National Occupational Competency Profile for the Paramedic Practitioner in the 'S' setting.
