Description:

You will expand on your BLS/ALS knowledge base from your Primary Care Paramedic education. Emphasis will be placed on pathophysiology, assessment and diagnostics, along with incorporating appropriate therapeutic treatment plans for specific patient presentations. You will develop diverse assessment methodologies, critical thinking, and approach modifications allowing for appropriate integration of treatment plans based on patient presentations and differential diagnosis. You will obtain specific 'A' for academic requirements for the Advance Care Paramedic, within the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) for the Paramedic Practitioner in Canada.
