Description:

You will apply relevant legislation and ethical concepts to problems presented in the paramedic field. You will also examine best practice guidelines for determining the acuity of presenting patients under the CTAS guidelines, documentation standards of the Ontario Ministry of Health and your professional responsibilities as a paramedic. This course corresponds with the National Occupational Competency Profiles (NOCP) for the Paramedic Practitioner within the 'A' academic setting.
