You will expand your knowledge of Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology. You will apply assessments and treatment protocols to patients with disease processes or traumatic injuries of the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous and endocrine systems. You will establish transport priorities to provide optimal patient care. This course corresponds with the National Occupational Competency Profiles (NOCP) for the Paramedic Practitioner. It will ensure 'A' academic knowledge is gained, with an ability to carry over this knowledge into both the simulated and placement settings.
