Description:

This course introduces the basic principles, language, units, and laws that apply to the analysis of electronic circuits. Students will be introduced to and demonstrate the use of electronic equipment including multimeters and power sources. Topics include scientific notation, engineering notation, and metric prefixes, resistance identification, dc voltage and current, basic semiconductor properties, identification and operation of PN junction diode, light emitting diodes and special purpose diodes, identification and dc biasing of bipolar junction transistor.
