Description:

In this course, you will be presented with all aspects of instrumentation apply a broad range of automatic controls systems and their devices, as they relate to current industry practices. You will design basic and advanced feedback systems for batch and continuous industrial processes. Programming an advanced PLC and HMI system, you will simulate the PID control of real world processes. By means of this lab simulation, you will observe and reinforce the classroom theoretical concepts of transient and steady state response to a changing reference. Finally, you will apply transducers, sensors and actuators within the context of piping and instrumentation diagrams.
