Description:

This course studies the fundamental principles of electromagnetic machines, how to control their speed, and safe handling procedures. It covers a broad range of DC and AC motors and generators and their associated control systems, covering topics such as magnetic field theory, electromotive force, physics of moving systems, torque, speed control and regulation, output power, starting methods, electro-mechanical control devices, and interpreting schematic diagrams.
