Description:

This course allows the students to build on the knowledge and skills learned in electrical installation 1. In electrical installation 2 students will be focusing on working with material and equipment that are typically used in the commercial industry. Students will be working with EMT conduit, ridge conduit and motor control. Students will learn to use proper hand tools, power tools, and materials consistent with standard commercial trade practices taught by an experienced certified master electrician. Students will demonstrate safe installation procedures as referred in the Canadian Electrical Code and the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
