Description:

This course provides an in-depth introduction to resistive, inductive and capacitive AC circuits. You will analyze, calculate and construct basic AC circuits. In the lab environment you will predict values and confirm calculations using computer simulation, digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Emphasis is placed on understanding characteristics of AC RLC circuits and properly utilizing measurement tools to confirm values.

    • ELEC1100 - Electrical Concepts I OR
    • ELEC1126 - DC Electrical Circuits
