Description:

You will be introduced to the basic principles, language, units, and laws that apply to the analysis of electric circuits and discrete electronic devices. You will develop the skills necessary to use standard electrical and electronic instrumentation to measure the basic circuit quantities. A computer program will be used to perform circuit simulations. Course topics include Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, simple DC circuit analysis, capacitance, and an introduction to the oscilloscope.
