This course provides an overview of the person directed planning processes which are common in services for adults with developmental disabilities. There will be a strong emphasis on current philosophical and legal principles which provide a value-based approach to planning for and providing personalized supports and services. You will gain experience with person centered / person directed planning utilizing a team approach, along with individualized strategies and supports for goal achievement.
