In this hybrid course, you will develop a wide base of knowledge to use when supporting individuals who use or who could benefit from assistive devices and technology to increase, maintain or improve functional capabilities in the areas of physical, communication, and learning disabilities. Using the principles of universal design, knowledge of funding options, and research skills to identify professional areas of expertise, you will be able to research, suggest and assist in the acquisition and implementation of assistive technology suited to individual needs.
