Description:

This is an introductory study of Macroeconomics. You will study the aggregate effects on the national and global economies of the choices that individuals, businesses and governments make. The course examines the evolution of macroeconomic theory with particular emphasis on the changing role of government involvement throughout the 20th century. The course will also examine Canada's position in an increasingly interconnected global environment and the impact of globalization on the firm and individual.
