Description:

In this course you will investigate the creative problem-solving process as it relates to visual communications. Projects challenge you to solve abstract visual problems and explore perceptions and concepts of visual creativity, with exposure to a variety of ideas and approaches. In addition to research and investigative phases of the creative process, students will utilize the concepts of typography as it pertains to design. The use of the grid and gestalt theory as well as professional presentation techniques will be emphasized.
