Description:

You will begin the design of a medium sized commercial and residential building from conceptual site layout to completed floor plan. Architectural and structural design requirements will be considered. Emphasis will be placed upon the progressive logical sequence of events to ensure your design meets local municipal bylaws and Ontario building code guidelines. You are expected to work in teams of two to develop your design layout and the required construction documentation including preparation of preliminary free hand sketches. Team selections must be approved by the professor before proceeding with your project.
