Description:

This course will introduce students to mechanical/industrial engineering drawings. The course will allow the student to develop skills in reading and accurately interpreting industrial drawings for manufacturing and design. A strong emphasis is placed on isometric drawing in order to enhance the visualization skills of the learner. Simple technical sketches and 3-D sketches will be prepared. The course also covers tolerances, and metric and inch fits. Both the metric and the imperial system will be emphasized as it applies to engineering drawings.
