Description:

In this course, you will investigate the procedures involved in the production of drawings typically developed in Architectural offices. Each drawing development stage will be explained and presented in a logical progression, both verbally and graphically. Construction site visits will be arranged, during which you will create freehand sketches of the "as-built" building components. In the drafting design studio, you will prepare construction drawings of civil site plans, maintenance holes, residential floor plans, elevations and building sections employing standard manual drafting methods. You will develop graphic visualization skills to understand and navigate through finished drawing plans and details. You will enhance your three-dimensional visualization skills by generating multiple views and objects.
