This course will define and examine the purpose and process of evidence-based practice. You will learn the process of evidence-based decision-making, namely: how to ask appropriate clinical questions, how to efficiently acquire scientific research, how to critically appraise scientific research, and how to apply the research to clinical practice. You will explore and analyze common dental topics, as well as apply the principles of evidence-based decision-making to new dental products and trends.
