This course builds on the principles learned in Dental Radiography I, focusing on applying and refining radiographic exposure techniques using adult and pedodontic mannequins. Students enhance their ability to produce diagnostically acceptable radiographs while adhering to radiation safety, professional standards, and legislative requirements. Completion of both theory and pre-clinical components is mandatory. Dental Assisting graduates are qualified to operate dental X-ray equipment upon program completion; dental hygiene students are qualified upon registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory authority.
