Description:

You will build on and expand the knowledge covered in Radiography I. Various radiographic exposure techniques are investigated and applied to adult and pedodontic mannequins. Successful completion of both components (pre-clinic and theory) must be achieved in this course. Dental Assisting students are deemed qualified to operate dental x-ray machines after successfully completing the dental assisting program. Dental Hygiene students are deemed qualified to operate dental x-ray machines once they register with a provincial regulating body (e.g., the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario).
