This course is designed to give students insight as to how drug taking behaviour affects an individual and society, including personal and social concerns. This course also looks at how drugs work in the body and the many different kinds of drugs that are abused in today's society. Lastly, students will study intervention and treatment strategies as well as prevention and education and drug administration methods.
