This course introduces learners to the legal, medical, and social perspectives on family violence. We will examine and discuss a wide array of topics related to family violence and include special areas such as domestic violence, violence against children and the impact on the family. Our goal will be to attain sufficient knowledge to understand the various dynamics that are involved in family violence and to advocate for children and youth.
