Students examine the security architecture, threats and vulnerabilities associated with modern mobile devices, applications and wireless networks. Through hands-on laboratory activities, students apply security testing methodologies to Android and mobile applications, analyze wireless communications, assess vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security controls. Students evaluate mobile security risks using recognized industry frameworks and communicate technical findings and mitigation strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
