Description:

Food processing technology plays a vital role in our food sector. Understanding how various commodities are manufactured is key for success in food product development. Further to the knowledge of FSEP based HACCP developed in the introductory course, you will learn a food manufacturing quality management system, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and be able to develop a product concept, and understand management of a food premise using the SQF manufacturing framework. You will gain knowledge of product manufacturing, and equipment requirements for manufacturing of various major commodities.
