Description:

The food processing industry is a highly regulated industry, with a wide variety of legal obligations to ensure safe, high quality product for consumers. This course will introduce food regulations by navigating new Canadian Food Regulations by using practical approach. Students will learn how to label a product by following the current regulations and to apply for temporary authorization whenever required. This course will also help to understand standards of food products in different food commodities and certification process of organic products.
