Recognizing the key role of communication in the commercial beekeeping sector, this course will introduce students to various methods and strategies to develop effective verbal and written communication skills. Through exercises and practical experience, participants will develop and demonstrate effective public speaking and presentation skills instrumental in good customer and business relations. Business writing skills will be a focus and the various instruments used in business development and customer relations will be demonstrated. Conflict resolution strategies and techniques will also be examined and students will practice a variety of techniques in an applied hands-on approach.
