Description:

This course will introduce students to dramatic structure and formats, focusing on key dramatic forms, including those employed in theatre, television, and film. Students will analyze elements such as plot, conflict, characterization, dialogue and theme. They will critically examine how these elements contribute to the creation of effective scripts in both independent and group situations. Students will employ technical and stylistic tools to create original script offerings in various genres.
