This course will introduce students to dramatic structure and formats, focusing on key dramatic forms including those employed in theatre, television, and film. Students will analyze elements such as plot, conflict, characterization, dialogue and theme, and will critically analyze how these elements are used to create effective scripts in the context of both independent and group situations. Students will employ technical and stylistic tools to create original script offerings in various genres.
