Description:

The student will explore the complexities of modifying existing structures. The implications of load-bearing structures, building envelope integrity, mechanical systems, and site protection during renovations will be discussed. The students will develop skills through the completion of actual renovation tasks and/or in lab activities. The skills developed in all previous Building Construction courses will be utilized, and the student will have the opportunity to expand upon these skills.
