Description:

This course will provide the students with the techniques and procedures for basic construction surveying and building layout. Surveying practices will be studied in class and demonstrated in field exercises. The operation of surveying equipment, accurate distance measurement, angle layout and note keeping will be central to this course. Students should be prepared to complete outdoor field exercises during this course.
