This course is designed to permit familiarization with the hand and power tools found throughout the construction trades. Industry-standard practices and procedures will be identified for safety, selection, optimal use guidelines, maintenance procedures and storage requirements. Using project-based learning, the skills required to set up and operate these tools will be demonstrated. Job and process planning will supplement the hands-on learning to facilitate efficiencies required throughout the construction sector.
