Students will develop an understanding of the numerous components and associated installation practices that combine to produce typical residential or light commercial foundations. Concrete foundations, forming systems, Insulated Concrete Forms, alternative foundation systems, structural loads and building codes will be studied. Practical lab activities and assignments will support the delivery of this subject matter.
