In this course, you will learn to use advanced surveying equipment and software, including global positioning systems (GPS) and total stations. You will use the equipment to collect preliminary survey data and also layout design data for a variety of infrastructure projects. You will also produce various maps using advanced CAD design, drafting, and mapping software. Maps will incorporate coordinated data along with raster and vector images.
