In this course, you will learn the fundamental concepts of soil mechanics and foundation design. Foundation-related issues which you may face as a Civil Engineering Technician are presented and reinforced through practical examples. As part of this course, you will design shallow and deep foundations, design retaining wall structures, assess slope stability, and predict when on-site dewatering is required.
