Description:

Assisting in the design and supervising the installation of municipal infrastructure by the Civil Engineering Technician is vital to the continued safeguarding of our environment. In this course, you will learn about the various piping materials used in sewer construction, sewer and water main appurtenances, and be involved in the design process of storm and sanitary gravity flow drainage systems. You will use advanced CAD design and drafting software to produce industry-standard plan and profile drawings, following best practices for sewer layout within existing roadways.

  • DRFT1176 - Civil CAD Drafting AND
  • CIVL1198 - Principles of Construction Surveying
