Description:

In this course you will develop your knowledge and problem solving skills in a general study of static forces and force systems that act on structural members. Fundamental concepts of forces and moments are applied two dimensional force systems acting on structural members in equilibrium and structural analysis of simple trusses (methods of joints and method of sections) and plane frames. The course will also cover the concepts of centers of gravity as well as moments of inertia.
