During the practical fieldwork (survey camp), you will develop your knowledge and skills in setting up and utilizing various types of surveying equipment commonly encountered on construction projects. You will reinforce your ability to calculate basic levelling and traverse computations. As part of the surveying field exercises, you will collect and analyze elevation data using an automatic level and ground coordinate data using a total station and a global positioning system (GPS).
