You will develop excavation quantities for a residential building lot and apply proper takeoff procedures for the concrete and formwork elements of a residential foundation. You will calculate the amounts of concrete and formwork required for irregularly shaped concrete abutments and footings for a retaining wall. You will calculate the excavation and backfill requirements for a commercial sewer service system, including catchbasins and manholes. You will apply Microsoft Excel to quantity takeoff procedures to increase accuracy and productivity.
