Description:

The student will create CAD (Computer-Aided Design) data files and determine the operations required to make a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) program that defines part boundaries and generates tool-motion commands for course projects. The student will generate CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software on the student's laptop. The student will transfer computer-generated programs to the CNC Lathe and Mill controllers and manufacture the projects.
