Description:

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to produce viable 3D solid model parts and subassemblies, with a focus on assemblies for mechatronic applications, such as Complex Integrated Systems (CIS), using the principles of parametric design. From your models, you will be able to generate orthographic detail and rendered exploded-assembly drawings. During this course, you will develop appropriate G-code files from your model to successfully program and operate rapid prototyping equipment such as FDM 3D printers and laser cutters.

    • CAPT1214 - Computer Aided Design AND
    • MECH1228 - Measurement, Dimensioning and Tolerancing
