You will identify the key elements necessary for developing a business opportunity. You will be exposed to the basic business concepts for establishing and operating a successful small business in your chosen health care field, and the guidelines provided by the appropriate College and/or regulatory agency. The role of a regulated health professional, whether as an employee or self-employed, will be considered in the context of establishing job expectations, contractual agreements, advertising regulations, and conflict of interest.
