This course introduces students to the fundamentals of contemporary business. An interactive approach will be taken to investigate the legal, regulatory, social responsibility, ethics and global business concerns. Further major topics include forms of business organization, small business and entrepreneurship as well as management principles, teamwork and communication. The final part of the course introduces the students to the four main areas of business; human resources, marketing, operations and finance.
