Description:

This course critically examines the purpose, processes, and utilization of nursing research. It explores the interaction between theory and evidence-based practice. Learners will explore the various qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research methods. They will consider how research can inform professional practice and examine different types of evidence. They will also learn about appraising research studies and explore the nurse's role in nursing research.
