Description:

In this course, the student will consider the theory and principles of pharmacology as they apply to nursing. This course provides students with the requisite knowledge to administer medications, provide patient education, and assess potential adverse events related to drug and lifestyle issues. The theory will include basic legal and safety issues related to drug administration by nurses.
